What it does
Accepting crypto usually means handing your money to an exchange and hoping — or wiring up a payment processor that takes a cut and holds custody. Orbit Wallet does neither. It's a self-custody wallet (desktop-first, built on Electron) where you hold your own keys across Bitcoin, Ethereum and the EVM chains, and Solana — and Orbit Pay turns that wallet into a full merchant checkout. Create a shareable payment link, your customer opens it, connects their own wallet, and pays on-chain; a backend authority service reconciles every transaction, issues receipts, and de-duplicates webhook deliveries so a payment is never counted twice. Merchants sign in with their wallet, spin up links in seconds, and watch confirmations land — no exchange account, no custodian, no middleman skimming the top. The cloud backend is live and the core create-link → pay → confirm loop works end-to-end; a documented live buyer-payment release gate, settlement hardening, and an escrow MVP are still in the oven.
